deBUNKED, Does it Work?
If you’ve seen these short, fast-paced video’s you’ll understand. If not, take a look.
If you aren’t familiar with the deBunked videos, they are fun-fast paced, approximately three minute videos that teach biblical truths and debunk lies and myths about God and His Word.
These videos have really been in the spotlight recently. Wretched TV used them to open some of their episodes! And Kirk Cameron not only recommended them, but has also begun offering them in his online store.

They’ve ruffled some feathers also (the Truth always does). An online atheist video blogger, spent a great deal of time doing a “talk-over” on the video and critiquing it from an atheistic perspective. The amount of time he put into doing this makes me think it really struck a nerve. Please pray that this man will hear the truth conveyed in the video and be humbled — and also that a brother or sister in Christ be put in his path to share the saving grace of Jesus Christ with him.
Another evidence that deBUNKED videos are useful in unraveling myths and lies about the Bible came from Pastor Jerry, who invited me to speak at Rush Camp at Camp Chitaqua last summer. I spoke there over a two week period and I previously shared some of the feedback online.
Well, we’re still getting feedback, and this shows that as long as our children are hearing the myths and lies, we need to be debunking them and teaching the truth. From Pastor Jerry:
Hey Carl,
Just wanted to let you know that after church last week I was asking my 3 year old what he learned in church, he told me that he learned about Noah and the ‘Yark”. I asked him what did Noah put on the ark, he said animals. I started to name a list of animals to see what Noah put on the ark, when I got to the elephants he told me that Noah didn’t put any on the ark because they were too big. I looked at his coloring handout and sure enough the ark was not big enough for elephants. This made me think of what you shared with us at rush camp about why Christian kids don’t believe the biblical account of the flood. Out of the mouth babes your statement has been confirmed. Thanks for all you do and keep up the good work.
One of the reasons we created the deBUNKED video series is to supplement the teachings offered by parents, teachers, leaders, etc. They’re also a great tool, to open spiritual conversations with both saved and unsaved people.
For those wanting to go deeper, we’ve created the deBUNKED Study Course that features the videos and then digs into God’s Word. It’s perfect for individual or group study.
The bottom line, deBUNKED is working and people are using it!
If you aren’t familiar with deBUNKED, we encourage you to check them out. View them online here.
And then equip yourself and others to be ready to deBUNK these six things:
1. There’s No Evidence For God
2. God Doesn’t Mean What He Says
3. The Bible is Unreliable Because It’s Full of Errors.
4. I Can Have Real Hope without God
5. As A Christian I Don’t Need to Talk About Jesus (I Just need to live a good life)
6. All Those Creatures Couldn’t Have Fit on Noah’s Ark
Stay Bold!
